- Diagnostic evaluation
- Academic planning
- Behavioral and medication management
Evaluating children with developmental and behavioral issues requires
an examination of a child’s developmental, medical, social and family history and an equally thorough look at what
is currently happening at home, school and elsewhere in life. Difficult behaviors
and academic concerns can develop because of medical problems, language delays, learning disabilities, school anxiety or many
other causes. All of these possibilities must be explored in creating a
comprehensive management plan, and before making a diagnosis.
